Buy the Heart Bonus First
At the Cat & Frog store there will be plenty of power-up weapons and items you can purchase with the coins you have earned. It is recommended that to begin with you spend your coins on the Heart Bonus as this will permanently increase Kerotan's maximum hearts by 1. You start with 2 Hearts (1 on New Game Plus) and each increase will cost incrementally more.
- 2nd Heart - 8 Coins (New Game Plus only)
- 3rd Heart - 12 Coins
- 4th Heart - 60 Coins
- 5th Heart - 210 Coins
- 6th Heart - 600 Coins
- 7th Heart - 1200 Coins
- 8th Heart - 2000 Coins
