Back 4 Blood Cheats and Tips

PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X
Last Updated: by Dennis

Back 4 Blood is a zombie first-person horde shooter game where you are at the center of a war against the Ridden. These once-human hosts of a deadly parasite have turned into terrifying creatures bent on devouring what remains of civilization. With humanity's extinction on the line, it's up to you and your friends to take the fight to the enemy, eradicate the Ridden, and reclaim the world. Back 4 Blood is the spiritual successor of Left 4 Dead and is designed from the ground-up as an original, premium title that combines the best of what made the co-op zombie shooter so successful with new features and state-of-the-art technology. Back 4 Blood is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.

Back 4 Blood Cheats, Tips Strategy

Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game.

Start on Recruit Difficulty

Resist the temptation to start the Campaign on Veteran, or Nightmare difficulties. It is instead recommended that you begin playing Back 4 Blood on a Recruit difficulty, where you will be able to unlock the Supply Points that are necessary to get bigger and better cards that will help you considerably when you play the higher difficulties. Even on recruit difficulty, new players will find it a challenge to stay alive, don't attempt the harder settings until you become familiar with the maps and objectives.

Practice at the Gun Range

It is essential that you become familiar with each of the weapons in Back 4 Blood and how they operate, as you will not know what you will be picking up during a run. Guns have varying fire rates, power, and recoil, and the best way to familiarize yourself with each of them and find out which ones adhere to your particular playstyle is to practice with each of them at the gun range. Doing this will also enable you to know what weapons to keep a lookout for during a run.

Choose the Right Weapons

Although there is a wide array of weapons on offer in Back 4 Blood, the number you can actually carry is very limited. You will only be able to have one primary weapon and one melee or sidearm weapon. It is therefore crucial that you not only choose weapons that suit the way you play, but are also a combination that compliment each other and will be effective in most situations. A risky combination you may want to try and avoid for example is a sniper rifle and a melee weapon as having these two weapons will increase the possibility that you will be overwhelmed if you are suddenly attacked by a horde of zombies.

Keep Moving

It is crucial that you are continually on the move in Back 4 Blood to avoid being surrounded by zombies. Don't be tempted to find a 'sniper perch' and take potshots at zombies, as they will converge on your location from all directions and overwhelm you. If you do have to stay in one location for a period of time for whatever reason, you need to make sure it is not for too long.

Always Carry a Tool Kit

At the beginning of each level you are given the opportunity to purchase a Tool Kit, make sure someone in your party is carrying one as they are extremely useful. Tool Kits take up an inventory slot, but they are worth it as they are capable of opening locked doors that would otherwise be a barred area and also caches which typically contain better weapons, attachments, and piles of copper. Keep in mind that there is always the possibility that you will find a Tool Kit on any given level.
