The game features alternate versions of existing, real aircraft but the developers opted to change the names (and probably some design elements), probably due to the extensive licensing steps involved. Thankfully, the naming conventions used are very similar to their real-life counterparts like MG for Mig, SK for Sukhoi, etc.
