Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Switch, and PC. Take a look at our cheats and tips to get help in the game.
Potion Craft is an alchemist simulator where you control a shop and must physically interact with your tools and ingredients to brew potions. Every day customers will come to your store looking for solutions to their problems, and you will face consequences depending on what you decide to sell them.
Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include why you should regularly harvest your garden and only buy ingredients that are in demand. As well as these hints and tips, we also have a beginners guide here which goes into more details on some of the tips we have below:
Your first priority in Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator is to accumulate as much money as possible. This means selling as much as you can to your clientele regardless of what it is.
Make sure you take advantage of the haggle mini-game whenever possible to sell your offered potions at higher prices while keeping your expenses as low as possible. Keep an eye out for ingredients marked with a green arrow pointing down as this indicates they have been discounted. Often these are rare ingredients as well. Check out our Haggling Guide guide to find out everything you need to know about this mini-game in Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator.
Avoid purchasing expensive ingredients that are not essential for the potion you are trying to create when it is possible to achieve the same result with an inexpensive ingredient, such as a red mushroom for example.
It is important in Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator that you regularly harvest your garden, so you are able to have a constant supply of Terraria, Waterbloom, Firebell, and Windbloom, which are the base for many potions. Also, rare mushrooms can be found in the garden which can be very helpful. Plants that you do not harvest are forever lost but will be replaced with new ones that will grow the next day.
There is no time limit in Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator so you are free to experiment with the ingredients that are used to brew the potions at your own pace. You should however steer clear of the skull areas whenever possible in order to avoid wasting your precious ingredients unnecessarily. Check out our Ingredients Guide to find out where you can get every ingredient in Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator.
During the in-game tutorial of Potion Craft you will learn that the water spout's primary use is to water down potions and navigate your bottle marker through difficult sections of the map such as the Necromancy region. What the tutorial does not tell you is that you can use the water to optimize the accuracy of your potion making.
