As if building a bridge that is capable to withstanding a substantial load is tough enough you also have to contend with building the bridge under a specified budget to successfully pass the level. As the levels progress this aspect of the game becomes increasingly more difficult and tricky and you will find yourself constantly searching for ways to reduce the budget as you try to find a workable solution. This will be trial and error as you tinker with bits of your bridge that aren't pulling their weight, pulling too much weight or haven't had enough triangles attached. If you are lucky it may just mean changing some of the materials you used for cheaper ones.
If you do find yourself having trouble with your bridge you can use the options to slow down the part that is causing the problem and watch how it works in practice in conjunction with the button that toggles the ability to see how much stress is on each element. This feature enables you to view how the different components perform under pressure and allows you to adjust your design accordingly.
If you scroll right to the bottom of the tips and tricks chapter you will find in the side bar a manual that gives you info about the stress toggle and the speeds of the replays.
