When I purchased this game, I had not seen many trailers for it, I was just excited to see what new Pokemon the creators would come up with. Sadly I was let down quite a bit. The number of brand new Pokemon was low compared to previous generations. In previous games, the game world was littered with new Pokemon and few prior generation Pokemon, it is a healthy mix, but I would have liked more of a new selection.

Though you do get the chance to change your character's appearance, something you were not able to do before. I love the outfits and the hairstyles you get to do. I deplete my poke account every time I head to Luminose City.

The extra features that the game has is really remarkable and a lot of fun, you really do feel as if you're raising Pokemon as opposed to just raising their levels and picking a move for them to use.

The graphics were lovely and the story was better than ever before. Like I said the only downside is that there wasn't enough new Pokemon, but they must be starting to run out of ideas soon.

I give it a 8.5 out of ten, the story, extras and graphics were top notch. I just wish there were more new Pokemon to play with.
