Pokemon Platinum Gym Leaders

Pokemon Platinum, like most other Pokemon Games, has eight Pokemon Gyms. These Gyms have the same Gym Leaders from Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl, but some of their gyms and some of their Pokemon have been updated.


Pokemon Platinum Gyms:


First Gym:

The first gym is found in Oreburgh City. The Gym Leader is Roark, a Rock-Type Pokemon User.

Roark - Level 12 Geodude, Level 12 Onix, and Level 14 Cranidos

After you defeat Roark, you'll receive the Coal Badge and TM76 (Stealth Rock).


Second Gym:

The second gym is found in Eterna City. The Gym Leader is Gardenia, a Grass-Type Pokemon User.

Gardenia - Level 20 Turtwig, Level 20 Cherubi, and Level 22 Roserade

After you defeat Gardenia, you'll receive the Forest Badge and TM86 (Grass Knot).


Third Gym:

Unlike Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl, the third gym is found in Hearthome City. The Gym Leader is Fantina, a Ghost-Type Pokemon User.

Fantina - Level 24 Duskull, Level 24 Haunter, and Level 26 Mismagius

After you defeat Fantina, you'll receive the Relic Badge and TM65 (Shadow Claw).


Fourth Gym:

Unlike Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl, the fourth gym is found in Veilstone City. The Gym Leader is Maylene, a Fighting-Type Pokemon User.

Maylene - Level 28 Meditite, Level 29 Machoke, and Level 32 Lucario

After you defeat Maylene, you'll receive the Cobble Badge and TM60 (Drain Punch).


Fifth Gym:

Unlike Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl, the fifth gym is found in Pastoria City. The Gym Leader is Crasher Wake, a Water-Type Pokemon User.

Crasher Wake - Level 33 Gyarados, Level 34 Quagsire, and Level 37 Floatzel

After you defeat Crasher Wake, you'll receive the Fen Badge and TM55 (Brine).


Sixth Gym:

The sixth gym is found in Canalave City. The Gym Leader is Byron, a Steel-Type Pokemon User.

Byron - Level 37 Magneton, Level 38 Steelix, and Level 41 Bastiodon

After you defeat Byron, you'll receive the Mine Badge and TM91 (Flash Cannon).


Seventh Gym:

The seventh gym is found in Snowpoint City. The Gym Leader is Candice, an Ice-Type Pokemon User.

Candice - Level 40 Sneasel, Level 40 Piloswine, Level 42 Abomasnow, and Level 44 Froslass

After you defeat Candice, you'll receive the Icicle Badge and TM72 (Avalanche).


Eighth Gym:

The eighth gym is found in Sunyshore City. The Gym Leader is Volkner, an Electric-Type Pokemon User.

Volkner - Level 46 Raichu, Level 46 Jolteon, Level 48 Luxray, and Level 50 Electivire

After you defeat Volkner, you'll receive the Beacon Badge and TM57 (Charge Beam).
