In order for your rice crops to flourish it is essential that you top up your paddy every day with new fertiliser. This involves gathering waste from the outhouse and taking it to the fertilizer pit where you can increase it's potency by adding some scavenged resources to it. Even after you have harvested the crops in Autumn make sure you continue to keep the soil rich by adding fertiliser through to the spring so you ensure that the new seedlings you plant have a good bed of soil to grow.
