Question for The Sims 3 Pets

What are you suppose to do in the "Exploring Goth Manor"? I've got my cat inside and went in every room, and I waited till about 9pm and captured all the ghost, I'm still stuck on what I'm suppose to do.

All you have to do now is sit on the sofa in the living room where there are 1. A Chair 2. A Sofa (thats the one you lay your cat on) and 3. Some Boxes

If this is right after the lighthouse, then you return home and hide under the couch. Something about the cat being scared of the sounds of a ghost dog when approaching the door to goth manor at first. Then after that, you go ghost hunting over town. You need to capture 3 wispy spirits and I think at least 1 person ghost. After you complete that, you have to rid goth manor during a haunting and have the cat sit/lay on the large sofa in the living room.

I'm so mad because cause I just unlocked goth manor yesterday and saved but today I get on and it's still locked
