Question for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

I lost shadowmere either killing of the emperor or kill cicero mission but I let cicero live, since then I've fast traveled with barby the dog but no shadowmere I tried looking at the original D.B sanctuary nothing I rebuilt the dawnstar sanctuary nothing, please help me

Well what you choose to do in the quests should not affect what happens to Shadowmere. It is possible that Shadowmere was killed somehow, possibly fell off a cliff. If this is the case she should respawn in a few days. Seeing as Shadowmere can't be permanetly killed and stuff, just wait a few in games days. If Shadowmere does not respawn then it very likely is a glitch, might never be able to get her back.

Thanks for that info but ill try that maybe I have to wait some more game days again if not at least I got barby & frost.

Sadly there is a fairly common glitch where shadowmere will just die or disapear. This IS a glitch. Unfortunately I have not been able to figure out how or y this happens.

He is most likely right where you left him and traded companions. I left him at the Black Briar Lodge when I did the Frost quest and took the new horse. That horse died but Shadowmere never returned to me. After searching the net, it seems he stays right where you leave him. Go back to where you left him last. He will be there. Also if he dies he will return in 15-20 in game days at the spot of death.

I did the same thing but I found the big horsy again. I know for a fact shadow mere can't die, trust I've fought many dragons and several dragon priests with him, and he never died. What you have to do is fast travel almost anywhere that's not a Towson and he shoould appear with you. That's how I did it.
