Human towns
I am wondering if there are any normal human towns that have heaps of missions. I blew up big town for somereason and I'm looking for a town that has like a room for me to stay atthats safe like tenpenny tower.

You can only own onw house per character and the only houses are in Megaton (Which you have blown up) and tenpenny Tower, if you save megaton you get the megaton house but can never access the tenpenny suite. They are virtually the same though so you do not miss anything either way. As for towns with lots of quests Rivet City is a good one as it is close to a few locations used in the main quest and the Point lookout expansion pack.

He blew up big town, not Megaton. But yeah, the only houses are in Megaton and Tenpenny tower, but there are numerous locations around the wasteland that you can use a replacement houses, such as the Bunker that you find the MIRV in.
The largest settlement in terms of population is definitely the biggest. I think the largest town for quests is Megaton.
