Also, when it says 'The compass leads the way home' the answer is 'Via Domus'

Stand behind the lady with the laptop make sure the laptop is open and take the pic

You'll notice a little board thing inside, like you did on the beach at the start of the game.
Complete this puzzle, and you'll get the camera.

You follow the woman through the cave & be very careful not to fall in the holes in the ground because you will have to start over. You will come to areas with bats & waterfalls, so have plenty of torches, you get those by trading with the guy at the entrance to the cave. I think I used 2 or 3 torches to get through. If you lose the woman, follow the sound of her voice & you will find your way.

Lol, you should see these like, bamboo like tree shield, scattered all over the place. Just pay attention to the cut scene beforehand, where Locke shows you, you have to find those.

Just walk into them, and you'll be safe from the creature (when you hear a thudding noise, that's when the beast sees you, so quickly make your way to the protective zone. ;)
