This list goes in the order I grabbed the medals as I played through. I
tried to get them as soon as possible. As far as I know, there are 115 Small
Medals. This list is the same one found in section (III-I) of my Japanese
version appendix, except the names of places have been changed to work for
the North American version of the game. Pots may have been switched with
barrels; if that is the case, they are still in the same room, just in a
pot/barrel instead of barrel/pot.
You do not have to get these in the same order that I do, they will
still be there. Please note that Mini Medals #065 and 066 (both of the ones
found at Marta's Cottage) are "lost-forever" if you wait too long to get
them.
All that is different in 1.03 from 1.02 is the U with an umlaut above it
was not showing up correctly (some funky 's' was showing instead), so I
changed it to a regular capital 'U'.

001: Peregrin Quay: After making the Thief's Key, open the treasure chest on
the right at the guy next to 3 chests.

002: Farebury church: With the Thief's Key, open the chest in the church's
dining room.

003: Overworld: With the Thief's Key in hand, go back to Farebury, and into
the forest to the southeast, following the river. At the
end of the river, walk south a bit, and open the chest.

004: Maella Abbey: Pot outside on the right side.

043: Seaview Church: Enter the nun's room that lets you sleep for free. Raid
her dresser in the corner.

through a dresser there.

098: Overworld: With the Godbird's Soulstone, fly to the southern area of
the desert where the Dragon Graveyard was. Open the treasure
chest behind you.

099: Overworld: Fly to the east of Farebury, and land on the high ground
area by the big red tree. Once there, break open the pot on
the right to find the medal.

100: Overworld: Fly to the east of Farebury, and land on the high ground
area by the big red tree. Walk down by the water on the
bottom.
South of the friendly Elysium Bird, check the sand between
the water and grass west of the pier (watch your compass).
There is a large, leafless tree on the western edge of the
area. About 7 steps east of the tree is the invisible Mini
Medal. Mash the X button while walking back and forth over
the sand, as it can be in varying parts of the sand.

101: Overworld: Land at Tryan Gully and go all the way around to behind the
town. Open the chest by the Big Blue Bully (Cyclops).

house, go upstairs and into the Lord High
Priest's chamber. Open the door on the left
