Fishing Rods
===============================================================================
There are a total of two Fishing Rods in the game, they are the Bait Rod and
Lure Rod. You get the Bait Rod during the story on Chapter 2 in the Fish Moster
Swamp and the second can be obtained two ways. The first is by winning the
Fishing Contest and the second by inventing it using the three photos Fish,
River, and Lafrescia Stem. You can get the Fish photo in Max's house in Palm
Brinks in the kitchen lying on the table.
To get the Lafrescia Stem photo you must first go to the Rainbow Butterfly
Woods and then go to a level with Himarra the walking flower monster in it and
have Monica transform into Himarra once you have the Himarra Monster Badge, and
talk to a Himarra to get Sundrops. Then, head to Rainbow Falls at the end of
the dungeon and use the Lafrescia Seed on the small swamp and then use the
Sundrops, and take a photo of the stem.
I don't think I'll have to tell you how to get the River. It's easy, just take
a picture of any river to get that one.
Both Rods consist of five stats. Resilience, Strength, Luck, Flight, and Grip.

Strength - Effects how long it takes for you to reel in a fish.
Resilience - Effects how much pressure the line can take before it breaks.
Flight - Effects how far you can cast your Rod.
Luck - Effects the chances of catchng big fish.
Grip - Effects how much your controller Ruumbles(It really is a waste of time)
I will now expain how you should go about leveling your rods:

5. Grip(Don't even worry about raising this stat, it's a waste of FP)

Utilizing The Lure Rod

This section will explain the best ways that I have found, you should use the
Lures:

The Minnow - With this Lure you will need to be quick. Move it Left, Right, X,
Left, Left, X Right, Left, X, Right, Right.
The Frog - Move your Rod Left to Right four times then reel the fish in for 2
seconds. Then Repeat.
The Fork - With this one do the same thing as the Frog.
The Spinner - Do the same thing as the Minnow, except reel it in longer.

1. Win any Finny Frenzy Race to win a lure.
2. Go to the Town Square in Palm Brinks when there are no events going on there
and talk to the Firbit Girl and she will join you. She will sell you every lure

How To Catch Umadakaras, Mardan Garayans, and Baron Garayans
===============================================================================
To catch Mardan Garayans, head to the Fish Monster Swamp and use a Poisonous
Apple as bait in King Mardan's Pond, between 6AM and 6PM.
To catch Baron Garayans appear in Heim Rada's Hot Springs Pond, between 4PM and
6PM and can only be caught with the Fishing Lure Fork.
Umadakaras can only be caught on the last four levels of Starlight Canyon using
Carrots.

Raising and Breeding Fish
===============================================================================
Yes, as the section suggests, you can raise and breed fish. But to do so you
will need to invent an Aquarium. To invent it you must first find three
ideas,"Fountain, Wooden Box, and Window". These aren't hard to find so you
should be able to find them easily. Once you have made it. You can classify it
as three different types. The Cross Breeding list below will tell you which
combinations make each fish:

The Rec Tank - This fish tank allows you to feed and enter your fish into Finny
Frenzy.
The Breeding Tank - This one breeds fish. One male and one female are allowed
at one time. Once you have bred a fish the new fish will have slightly better
stats then the parents and if you bred two different ypes of fish you'll get a
different type of fish and sometimes they'll be a different color then the
normal fish of that type.
The Battle Tank - This tank can pit up to four fish against each other at a
time. Beware that your fish CAN die. There are no real warning signs, so if you
start to worry that a fish is going to die, take it out. If you have fish of
the same type battle. They will gain better stat bonuses. If you have fish of
different types, they will most likely die.

Fish Stats and Bait Effects
===============================================================================
Each Fish have different Stats. You can raise them in your Aquarium and feed
them. When you feed them there stats increase.
Here are the stats:

Boost - How fast it is.
Endurance - How long the fish can push itself.
Strength - How hard the fish will bump another fish.
Tenacity - How Quickly the fish will bump other fish.
Stamina - How long the fish can take a bump.
Mood - It determines the fish's personality.
Gender - Male or Female
Length - How long it is.
Weight - How Big it is

Now I will give you a list of what stat each Bait Effects. Keep in mind that if
you raise a stat above 100 the game "WILL" freeze:

Carrot - Gives it more Boost and Changes the gender of fish.
Evy - Stamina.
Petite Fish - Endurance.
Potato Cake - Raises Stamina and decreases the fish's weight.
Prickly - Tenacity

Now I will tell you how it's Mood effects the fish's personality. It is very

Sore loser - Doesn't care if it wins...

Fishing Contest

This is the first contest you'll get. Once it starts you will have 72 hours to
have your fish weighed. You can enter 10 fish and the 3 fish that way the most
will be totaled for the final part of the contest. When your done choosing your
fish select "Total Up" from the Owl's menu and if your total was the highest
you'll win the Lure Rod.

Finny Frenzy
===============================================================================
Finny Frenzy will be available sometime during Chapter 4 and you'll be able to
race the fish you've breeded.
If you win the Finny Frenzy, you'll be able to recruit Olivie, a female Firbit
who will sell you Lures for your Lure Rod. To enter the Finny Frenzy select how
many fish you want to enter, except this time, the indicator must say Finny
Frenzy.
Finny Frenzy consists of 3 races and each fish can participate only once. Each
race is classified into 3 events:

1st Heat - Your fish must finish in first place.
2nd Heat - Your fish must finish in second place or better.
Finals - Your fish must finish third or better

Each event has 2 laps. The race is automatically handled and how good the fish
will do, will depend on how well you raised it.
