PART ONE: INTRODUCTION

This is a walkthrough... or more or less, a guide for begininers to the game "Dark Cloud". Thats not to say even someone who is a pro at the game doesnt have to not use this. Even the best fall down sometimes. And this guide is there to help them back up.

PART TWO: Basics

ATLA: Atla is a gold ball containing the energy of the outside world. Only toan can touch these glowing bronze spheres. For that he is the one useing the Atla Glove which allows him to break the sphere down and take the buildings, people, and items out and then placed into the world outside. It is called Georama. Once you create the town of 'Norune Village'. You should be set to go from there.

Treasure: Treasure chests are nifty little chests scattered about the doungen floors. Open them for Items such as Fish Bait, Water, Food, Repair Powder, Holy Water, and other various items.

Large Chests: These are personally my favorite thing in the doungen's. Opening them Allows you to gain access to somthing much better than water or anything like that! Of course im talking about weapons, level up powder, gems, and other extremely useful objects. Be careful with ALL chests though. Sometimes, even before you enter the doungens, Ghosts will curse the chests causing them to come to life and try to attack the indivual whom had tried to open it. This only happens in later doungen floors.

Fountains: In the doungens you have a thirst limit. When your thirst is Quenched, your doing fine. But if you get thirsty in a doungen, you'll start to loose valuable HP. Simply walk into the water of a fountain or pool to regain your thirst AND HP. Using bottled water regains only your thirst. Always have at least one bottle at all times. To extend your thirst limit, you can pick up items fro the outside world when you place Georama. They will be called 'Gourds'. Use them wisely.

Dagger: The dagger is your deafualt weapon. Leveling it up in the future will be very hard so try to do it early, but once you reach level five with your dagger, use Status break and attatch it to another weapon in the blue slot to make a much more powerful weapon.

PART THREE: Weapons

ATTACK: Attack is max damage your weapon can do to an enemy.

ENDURENCE: Endurence makes it so your weapon is more sturdy and harder to break. Also helps you defend better.

MAGIC: Magic is the max damage your weapons attribute can do against its polar oppisite such as ice to fire. or Thunder to wind. Also each 25 magic you have on a weapon, you become better against smell casters like Ghosts and Witches.

PART FOUR: BEASTS

In this section you'll get a short description and a level rating on each beast in the Divine beast cave.

monster table
1 - pawn
2 - easy
3 - normal
4 - intermediate
5 - dangerous
6 - hard
7 - EPIC

BAT - 1
The Cave Bats have always been native to the Divine Beast Cave. But a Strange Occurence happened causing these bats to inject poision into their victim. Recently they have become a slight hazard.

DASHER - 1
Not a native of the doungen at all. These fast running creatures attack and bash any human they can find. Their Strange Armor indicates they are from east terra.

SKELETON WARRIOR - 1
The undead have never troubled the Divine Beast Cave Before. They are Natives of Northeren queens where, Rouge's of Brownboo village brought the dead back to life over 100 years ago, starting with a young woman. Something has brought the evil skeletons to the cave. but what?

GHOST - 3
Ghosts are actually the undead brownboo people who first reanimated the dead. They were cursed by the moon people and put to dead, yet their spell lingers. But something has driven about the land. Seeking revenge upon the living.

Statue - 3
Dran's Personal Body Guards. Created with one purpose to keep outsiders, out. These are not evil, they only follow their purpose.

Dog Statue - 2
The original body guards of Dran. They were considered to weak by the village of Norune, so they stopped putting them in the doungen. These Dog Statues are now servents of the Statue guards.

Rockonoff - 4
The name 'Rockonoff' refer's to the fact that they were large boulders that simply fell off the doungen walls. However, they have recently been cursed to attack humans by dark magic.

Master Jacket - 3
In life, master jackets were the black jacketed, red cuffed soliders of the Kings and Queens of the city of Queens. The nation wide revolt of the army sent Queens into chaos. In the end they were setenced to death. And the Brownboo Rouge Villagers, ressurected these killing machines for their own personal use.

Dragon - 6
In the past Dragon's could fly, for that the terradactyl blood gave them the wings they needed, but the Dragons were bred with lizards to create flightless fire breathers. The Dragons are said to be decendents of Dran. Which is a theory of how such large beasts gained entry to the Doungen without the Norune Village Towns people knowing.

Yamich - 2
These were once brave pockles (gremlin), that invented the drill and dug the entire divine beast cave. But over time, some evil had past over them turning them into a spector, a shadow. A demon of sorts. They attack on sight useing their drill which is cocealed in shadow. They are easier to take out than it seems though.
