The Getaway Cheats and Tips

Armoured car weapon:

The Armoured car weapon can only be used in missions. Press the following combination at the Main menu:

Once you have unlocked Roam mode got to the golf cart in one of the parks and press the following combination:

During the FMV sequence, press up, up, left, left, right, right, circle, circle, down.

At the title:

Now the infinite ammo cheat press:

up, down, right,triangle,up,down,left,right,square.

I have noticed that on most cheat websites they don't usually tell you how to unlock free-mode so here it is. At the beginning where it has all the credits type in triangle, triangle, triangle, left, square, triangle, triangle, triangle, left, circle a lady screaming will confirm entry. Then press x and go across to extra features and select free roaming.

DC Carter moves

Knock out hostage: With a gun, press X to get a hostage then press Square.

Kick hostage: While unarmed, X to get a hostage then press Square.

Mark Hammond moves

Shoot hostage: With a gun, press X to get a hostage, then press Square.

Break hostage's neck: While unarmed, press X to get a hostage, then press Square.

Health recovery:

If you have been getting damaged badly by enemies and are close to dying, walk up next to a wall. Your character will lean up against it in order to recover.

With each breath your character takes, part of his bullet holes disappear until he is fully recovered. This may take a minute -- make sure that no enemies are attacking you.

Hidden vehicles

You can find some hidden vehicles in the parks of London, such as a sooty van (Little Suzuki van with grass in the back) and a very fun golf cart parked behind huts and bushes around the parks.

Select Free Roam mode once it is unlocked and make your way onto Oxford Street from the start point. Head west past the marb..

If you go to the bottom of the map you come to a place called lambeth bridge. After you find this bridge go straight on down the road to come to "horse ferry road." After this you will see a blue wall and at the end of this blue wall you will see an enterance where a abandend multi story car park was and if you look about at the bottom you will find a white or yellow suped up PEUGOUT 306 (Boy racer style...

(Note: the turning for the car park will only be at the end of the blue wall dependind on which way you come)

To re-gain health you can walk up to anything like a wall or something you can hide behind, leaning on it will

slowly gain your health back.(Mark will automatically lean to rest if he is injured)

Driving in a car without getting shot at or crashing will also re-gain your health

REGAIN HEALTH

lean against a wall or just drive round in a car for a bit to regain health.This is helpful when you are on a mission and you have been shot or hit on the head by a bad guy.

Free roam mode and all extra features

Press Triangle , Triangle, Triangle, Left, Square, Triangle, Triangle, Triangle , Left, Circle put the code in before the main menu appear.

Infinite ammo+no reloading

To get infinite ammo+no reloading type in up, down, left, right, triangle, up, down, left, right, square.

Secret vehicles

Tank:

On birdcage walk south of St James's park.

In free roam mode from where you start do a 180 turn and drive until the end of that road, take a left then a right then a left and a right. you should be faceing wellintons monument on Hyde park corner take the first left and follow it until you see Buckingham palace on your right. cut across the black posts and take a left you s..

Follow your map to horseferry road some of you may know this is where you get the boy racer type peugeot 206 gti and in front of the container is an aston martin.

Don't know if the car is only on platinum edition or on both can someone post here and let me know!
