How do I get into gun shops?, none of them seem to let me in no matter what time of day or what area I'm in

You have to wait entill they open and when they are open you have to press L2 when your at the door.
You have to solve enough crimes in one presinct to made it green on the Compt-Stat then you will be able to go in to them.
Is there Gun Shops in this game??well,I just bought all my guns at the Police Departmen centre...the place where you buy skill for car and change your outfit...
