If you do some tricks in succesion without falling your special meter will fill up!! Then you must do a certain group of buttons e.g I think to do a McTwist you press: left, down, circle. =) peace out!!
Do a couple tricks then press L3 to go into special.
Do a few grab or flip tricks, then press L3 and you should do a special.
