Question for Tony Hawk's American Wasteland

How do you do focus mode for master zen I keep pressing L3 but Im not exactly sure what it is can somebody HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

First you need to get full special and then you press L3 and you go into focus mode where everything slows down then you have a certain amount of time in which you can do things before your special runs out and you stop focus mode you can keep doing grinds and tricks to keep your special meter ip and then you are able to go longer in focus mode.
