Question for Shadow of the Colossus

Ok, I'm stuck on the 11 colossus(the bull thing in the canyon by the lake, in a room) and I can't beat him. Someone help me!!!

Once you get to the chamber head to one the fire lamps and climb up it. After the colossus stuns himself jump down grab the piece of wood and get back up on the flame lamp. Light the wood and drive the colossus back to the edge and make him fall. After he falls jump down on his back and start stabbing quickly before he starts running.

Don't grab on it's vital be some little backfard when your sword can hit it's vital then you can hit you just stay grabbin when you load max power hit and it loses some half of it's health
