I had problems with the Big Salvador myself, until I found out this little trick to kill him faster. When he comes out, do not stand there, and shoot him, if you see him, or hear him nearby run away! Run too the building that has the glider on top of it, and shoot him when he is on the ground, and when he jumps up onto the building you are on. Do not go on the glider until he is a foot away from you, you still have time to shoot him. Try to make all your shots hit him in the upper body, or flat in the head, your shots will be more effective that way. If you want to try, throw a flash grenade, or flame grenade if you have either one of the two, they will help you out alot. When he is about a foot away, or just really close to you, use the glider to slide all the way to the other side of the level. Super Salvador will have to waste time running back across the platform, jumping down the building, running all the way across the level, and jumping up to the platform your on.

While he is doing that, you should be shooting at him, and if your a good shot, by the time he gets to you, he will be dead. Simple as that, pick up the item he drops, and focus on killing the little guys. He should not come back, but he might so watch out.

Instead what I always did is when I heard him coming I went down the railing and when he jumped up I shot him with my shotgun and he fell and immediately died.

I went to the highest point in the game, and due to the retardedness of that level, he can clear a set of ladders without even touching them.
So what I did, was get the shotgun out, stand in the corner, threw a nade at him, then blew his bead of whilst he was on the floor.

Dont you just hate that fart. Shoot him in the upperbody till he's a bit stunned then bomb him. While he's getting fried you can run. Also climb the tallest ladder you can see. While he jumps before he lands shoot him. Depending on the height he should die or get hurt preety bad.

I hate that place as well cause when he sees you he will swing his dual chainsaw.I died a couple of times.But ,find enough grenades and you can blow him away .Three is enough,but if you miss,equip Leon's shotgun and blast him.He should die after a few shots since you have already blown him with grenades.Hope it helps

A cool trick I found out was if a dynamite guy,super salvador, and a weaponless soldier ganado is near you, let the soldier without a weapon grab you, super salvador will go next to him, and the dynamite guy will throw dynamite, super salvador will either die or get badly injured, and the one that grabbed you will blow up and you won't get hurt from the the explosion.

P.S. NEVER let a dynamite guy grab you because if you don't get him off, you'll both blow up.

Avoid. The ladders. And he won't show up.
