There is a door on the sixth floor Ancient Ruins and a chest on the fifth floor in Muggle Studies that are locked. I was informed that I could find a key by finding lost objects through the Gryffindor common notice board. I found the key but it does not unlock the door nor the chest. Does anyone know how to unlock the dorr on the sixth floor or the chest in Muggle Studies on the fifth floor?

You should of been informed that you could find the key in the forbiden Forest I don't know where it is but I was told it was in the forbiden forest and if you find it and manage to open a locked door can you let me know, BUT the chest on the fifth floor Muggle Studies you need to use hermione to repair the record player and the chest lock will fall on the floor and the sixth floor Ancheant Runes you repair the vase to unlock the chest on the sixth floor.
