I am having trouble figuring out how to get the Doxy Eggs.
I know Hagrid said to use the Harry's "grapple hook" on them, but he also said to make sure to have plenty of "uncommon poison" along.
So before heading over to the Doxy eggs, I made sure to load all three characters up with the "maximum" number of antidote vials.
The problem I am having is that when I'm playing "one" character... the other "two" character's are getting poisoned, and "one by one" they all get killed by "too much" poison.
I can't seem to get their antidote's to them fast enough by switching from Harry, to Ron, to Hermoine over & over, to try and keep them alive.
And with all that antidote drinking, I never found ANY time to try and grab the eggs!
Obviously, I am doing something wrong. I haven't had trouble getting any of the other ingredients.

What I did was I concentrated on using only one of the characters to hurt the Doxy creatures.
Don't switch from one character to the other as this wastes time and their energy.
Use any character and first make sure their energy is up high, then get them to use flipendo on the doxys till they fly away. dont worry about the other characters as you can restore their life once your task is complete.
You might at this point get poisoned but dont give your character the poison potion, unless it is really urgent as again this wastes time.
If you do need to give your character potion, run away from the doxy tree a fair bit and give it to him/her then, as the doxy wont be around your character trying to bite him/her.
Keep on using flipendo and soon the doxy will fly away, and then you will be able to use harrys spell to grab the doxy eggs from the tree.

Go as Harry and have Carpe Retratrum equiped, run at the bush but stop a bit away but not too far away.
Target the bush and use C R on it and pull back slightly.
If someone get's poisoned leave them, as if you get the eggs then die, you keep the eggs.
You will still be poisoned but when you've got 3 eggs run to Snape's room and that's it.
The poison stops if you run around a bit.
Make sure that you have at least a little bit of the antidote to uncommon poisons and wiggenweld potion handy.
Then go to the doxies and shoot at them continuously one by one until they fly away or die.
Don't keep changing form character to character, for this is a bad waste of time and life. It doesn't matter if the other's get poisoned.
After you get the doxies away use the carpe retractum spell to get the eggs off the tree.
