How do you transform into super saiyan form?

Sorry you can't transform in this game the only way to be in super sayian for is to pick that form.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi Two you can transform all the time even in battles.

All transformations must be selected PRIOR to starting the match. You select the one you want by pressing up/down after your character is "Highlighted".
If you have the Z Item for Super Saiyan, you will have to access Z Item Fusion and merge it with the Item for the character you want to convert. Then you will have the option of turning Goku into a Super Saiyan before you enter the battle. Keep in mind that this results in a different moveset, and he can't be changed during that match.
You can transform in BT2 and BT3 you have to pick the charatcer there are no transformations during the battle.
If we're taliking about DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 2 on PS2, then press the R3 button/R3 button and directional button to transform into e.g. Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2, or Super Saiyan 3. Although for example when using Goku, you need to wait for @least 1 "Blast Shock" to build up before you can transform (R3/R3 + up, left, right, down). In case you don't know, R3 is when you press in the right analog stick. If you have a PS2 control that isn't dual shock, then I have no idea how else you transform. Hope this helps
