a load save problem

I have a used game & maybe there-in lies the problem but just in case here goes. I cannot load from the supposed autosave place at the beginning of the game. It always starts me in the Bay City postion of "Big Zero," in other words (SQUARE ONE.) Help!!!! Do I need a NEW game, or is there a trick to it. Thanks,

Ok here's the thing you need to save manually at the end of the mission and THEN auto-save is active hope this helps.

Try saving manually after each mission, after you save a message should appear prompting you that autosave is now active but if this does nt happen you ll just have to keep saving manually.

You may just have to start a new game, and keep backup saves incase this happens again
