Need money real bad.

Just keep running the boards , fishing then sell the fish (all the regular fish are 50 dollars the Baron & the Mardan are worth 100 dollars , sell most of the items you collect. That's about it until you can do the lure trick .

You can do the Lure Duplication trick already at this point.

Though you won't be able to find the book with the invention until later, you can actually make the Lure Rod already. And here is a short guide for how to do this trick.

1) Make the Lure Rod:
-Take a picture of 'fish 'Lafrescia Stem' and 'river' and make the invention.
2) Recruit Mina
- Once you complete the Spheda tutorial, talk to her as Monica (Mayor's Manor, Palm Brinks) and then complete 10 stages of Spheda AFTER you talked to her.
3) Buy 2 of the SAME lure from Mina.
- I think they are 150 each or something like that..
4) Equip one of the lures, and then equip the other.
- This causes a glitch which shows that you have 2 of the same lure equipped and yet you still have the other one in your inventory.
5) Continue equipping that same lure until you get to 998 (or less if you want to play it safe)
6) unequip the lures and you should have a stack of 999, sell all but 2 and repeat until you have max money ^_^

PS Another thing you can do for easy money before getting the lure rod is rerunning the sewer/forest stages for loot. Getting a few hundred of each element (for Georama) can help you later too.
