Wingman Explination's
For those of you who are confused by "Wingmen" in Need for Speed: Carbon, here is a short explination:
A wingman can be thought of as a partner in a race. You can bring them to any race EXCEPT Canyon Drifts, Canyon Sprints, Canyon Duels, Drift Races, and Checkpoint. Wingmen help you out by pressing the Triangle button, but the meter needs to be full, or at a useable postition. Below is an explination of each class:
Drafter: These guys come in handy in pinches. What you do is activate, a blue rush will start from the back of your wingman's car, and you need to run in synch with it. Once deactivated, your car will slingshot around it, which REALLY helps.
Scout: Ok, not the best, but useful. These guys have a little blue trail along their tires, just follow it and they tell you where a shortcut is and if you are in front of them, they tell you were it's coming up. If behind them, they'll just say, a shortcut is coming up on ______, follow behind them and get the shortcut.
Blocker: These are handy as well. They are pretty decent to have. These guys smash other drivers for you, or they block a guy from getting past you. Sometimes, when the smash another car, the other car will be turned around on the track, losing precious time.
Hope this helps.
