Mega Man X8 PlayStation 2 Cheats and Tips

To enable the following effects in Chip Dev. Menu enter the corresponding code at the 'Title' screen when the words 'Press Start' are flashing.

Unlock Alia Buster in the Chip Dev. Menu:

Press Down, R1, Up, L1, Square, X, Triangle, O.

Unlock Layer Rapier in the Chip Dev. Menu:

Press Square, Square, Right, X, R1.

Unlock Pallet Bullets in the Chip Dev. Menu:

Press R1, X, Left, Square, Square.

Unlockable Items

Axl's White Armor:

Beat the game and have all of Axl's metals, then beat the last boss with a double attack using Axl.

Zero's Black Armor:

Successfully beat the game and have all Zero's metals purchased.

Zero's Sigma-Blade:

Successfully beat the game and use the cleared save and the Sigma-Blade can be bought at the lab.

X's Ultimate Armor:

Successfully beat the game with all of X's metals and all 8 pieces of armor.

Endings:

To see one of the three different endings get the final hit on the boss with Axl, X, or Zero.

Be EXTREMELY LOW ON METALS!

Charge up your tanks and there should be a tank you can fill....But you don't have enough metals, ut for some reason you can! So fill it up and then you will get ALOT of metals!

Hey all you people who own Mega Man X8 and computers! Okay so you know how in stages like Pitch Black and Metal Valley you go through the stage and can only find 3 of the 4 treasures in there, and you just get so frustrated because you can't find the last one? Well worry not for I will tell you where those last hidden Metals are. In Pitch Black you have to go through a hallway with searchlights, right? Well you need Axl for these three and X for one and Zero for one. Get spotted by the lights and have Axl copy the DNA of one of the guards. Then there should be a wall you can jump or kick off of (it has one of those flying drones in front of it). Go up and have Axl transform and salute the guard. He will then open the door and reveal the generator. This is where the hidden Metal is. Have ..

Layer: beat the game on hard with Zero

Pallete:beat the game on hard with Axl

Note: To acess them press select on the character select screen.

Other note:When you fight a mavrick, There will not be a conversation.

One more note:The navigator you unlock is handled just like who ever unlocked them.

I the level pitch black its dark and stuff well after you go down the elevator you will find a hallway with search lights. go into the search light as Axl and guards will attack you.

Use the copy shot and get its data and kill the rest.

Once you get to the end of the first part there is a wall you can climb up and find a room transform into a guard and press the triangle button to salute, the other guard will open the door once you get in there use the plasma gun on the generator and the lights will go on.

Go back to the first hallway where the lights were and there will be platforms hanging there jump up there with Zero or X with high jump ability to find the first rare metal after that go down to the last place and there is to platforms above the doo..

Well, you have to have medle generator.go to the park stage and when you first get there and use some thing to keep the left stick thing to the left.

Wait for like 7 hours andyou have like 309567 metals.

When you get the yeti's attack,use zero then spam the yeti's attack on vile.it's like his weakness.

# Cut Man: If you have a Command Mission save file on your memory card when you play Mega Man X8, you will encounter Cut Man at the end of the Troia Base stage (right before the Maverick battle). Your navigator will tell you this by saying that the data was downloaded from �CM� (except that Cut Man isn�t in Command Mission... It would have been more appropriate if they�d used the Anniversary Collection save, but they didn�t... Ah well). Note that this doesn�t seem to happen during Easy mode. Go to the Metal Valley stage. Pick Axl and Zero, defeat the giant robot.when it

Runs away catch up to it . Pick Axl with the ray gun and keep on shooting the robot until it gets to the building. The robot will drop red orbs on the ground.pick them up .repeat this process and you will have more than 4097 money every time you do this. Happy Cheating!
