just a little hint for the 1000mile race in the european cup

A little help for those stuck on the european 1000mile track I would highly recomend the chevrolet chevels ss 454 70' that you win from the american muscle comp and set it to b spec mode a BAM there you go you have allready won the race set it ot 5 and overtake them all once you have done that set it to 3* the speed and in a bout 1 and a half - 2 and a half hours you would have won the race insted of racing (real time of course) 5 hrs plus hope this helps

P.s. Plz rate this hint

Guide Line

In Gran Turismo Mode, on only the A and B Liscences, you can trigger the Guide Line during any test (except the Coffee Breaks). To do this, during a test, press R3 and a blue line should appear in front of you. When it shows blue, go. When it shows red, stop. I did this to get Gold on all A and B Liscence tests!

lots of money for not drivin how easy

Buy a DTM car or get one from you're garage tune it up a bit then go to the DEUTSCHE TOURING MEISTERSHAFT (DTM) championship let you're B-spec driver drive on pace 4 and speed x3.normally you're driver will finish all the races in about 15 mins. U will get 15,000 credits for each race and 75,000 credits for the championship. And you will get over 700,000 credits for selling the prise car which is MERCEDES CLK-GTR RACE CAR all together you will get over 900,000 credits keep doin this and you will soon get the 4,500,000 credits to get the LMP cars

Easy Money

Ok, for easy money go to Gran Turismo mode, go to Special Condition Events with about a 276 hp car. You'll see the list of events, if you do the first one, you'll win a Cadillac Cien; it has about 640 hp. You can't sell it, but it is fast and you can use it to win the next event. Back on the list of events, go to the second one with your Cien. Win those two races and you'll get a Toyota RSC Rally car; this is the one you can sell. It has about 463 hp, I think. When you sell this one you get about 250,000$ or more. Still, it's a lot of money.
Hope this helps!!!

Tyre ware

How to turn of tyre ware in GT mode

The Perfect Starter Car

If you want the perfect starter car do this............Go to the used car showrooms(cant remember which one)any way, do this then buy the Mitsubishi Galant. Its the perfect starter car. I did this and I won every event I could participate with it in the beginner section. Hope this helps! Smile

Extra Credits(Money)

If you have some GT3 data on your memory card you can transfer up to 100,000 credits to each file on GT4.

Win every race with a tuned car

When in a race with a car that has been tuned up quite a bit press r1 to get the race monitor up then hold l1 and press right 3 times to get it at three times the speed then let go of the buttons and hold l1 again and also hold right so a beep is heard and x3 is flashing keep it held for the rest of the race and you should come 1st it works for me 9/10ths of the time.
P.s while holding l1 and right make sure you are in push hard and overtake this only works in b spec mode races

Easy money at the start of the game

Get both A and B licences befor anything. Then use the Sunfire GXP Concept '02 and give it nitrous, a superchip and a racing exhaust.Complete both the sunday cup and the FF cup in the beginner races and sell the car that is worth money, and keep doing this until you have about 25 000 credits. Then keep checking the late 90's used car lot until they have a mitsibushi evo vi or vii. When you have this just give it nitrous and a superchip and go to the special condition races. Complete the 2 races for the second one down and you will win a toyota rally race car. Either use this car for the rest of the races as it is fast as fudge, or sell it for about 250 000! It takes about 10 minutes to do these 2 races and you can keep winning this car over and over again!

Easy Money

Once you have a car with at least 300 hp or more go to special condition events. Pick the second event on the list. It should be Easy Costa di Amalfi. Now these two races should be really easy because the car your competing against has only a max of around 80 mph. So you should be able to pass him real easily. The first course is normal then the second is reverse. Once you've beaten the two races you should win a Toyota RSC Rally Raid Car. Go back home and sell it. It is worth about 270 Grand. Go back to special condition events and clear your wins on that race. Race again and you'll get another Toyota RSC Rally Raid Car. Sell it again. Repeat this process until you have enough money to satisfy your needs.

When you get enough money to buy a Cerebra speed 12, do that or buy a different one and enter the "blackpool racers" event, you should win one there
Put everything you can on it and you should get up to 1038 maybe more bhp...
Put the final gear ratio to the most open position it can go, to test out this theory go on test track, and choose race meeting, don't go in front at the start, wait until the last car passes you....
Then you should easily catch up becasue even though you put the gearbox to open... The car should still have monster acceleration. I timed it once, it was about 0-100 mph in 1 second. You will easily win the "like the wind" event with it, and that benefits the game because you win a 787b race car, another extremely fast car. Trust Me Thi..

Easy Money

You can get an easy money by doing this.....
2. Choose to race in the second games RALLY d' CAPRI
3. Race 1 time each for forward and backward race ( take less then 10 minutes )
4. You get a prize of TOYOTA RSC RALLY RAID CAR '02
5. Sell it you will get 260K for trade-in
=== re do the above methods to get a lot of money ===
I have tried it works....

I didn't see anyone having the AC 427 SC as a re..

I didn't see anyone having the AC 427 SC as a reccomended car. I's a little expensive but not as much as some of the supercars. I won all of the professional races that I could enter it in with this car and I was racing against a lot more expensive supercars. It also can be entered in some of the size restricted races and blows the competition away. Hope this helps.

Special Black Cars

If you're like me, you may have missed out on your chance to get the special black cars on day 694. I've been told there is no other chance to get them, but obviously there is. On day 2094, the Nissan R390 GT1 and Toyota GT-One were available in black in the early '90s lot, and the Mazda 787B and Nissan R92CP are available in the late 90's lot. The first two will cost you just under 3 million; the other two will be halfway between 1 million and 2 million credits, so you may have to sell some cars to get all four of them. It happened to be Dec.25 on the game when I saw them. So obviously, they return every cycle of 700 days from day 694.(After 2094, it should be day 2794, etc.) If you're around that time, why not check and see for yourself?

Unlock diffrent cars and diffrent tracks

To unlock cars and tracks, compete in the GT Career mode. You can earn money there to upgrade your cars, and buy or sell new and used ones

Easy start

Okay there are 3 different ways on how to have a good start on GT4
NOTE: you must have gran turismo 3 and at least 50000 cr. For this to work
Okay 1st thing, when you start, transfer your money from gt3 to gt4, it tells you how to do that at the start, then either buy a chrysler crossfire, Mazda RX-7 or Mazda RX-8, then after you have bought any of those cars, do a little tune up, anything that will make thee acceleration faster, then after you have done that, go onto one of the manufactures events, and when you win these are the cars you should get...
crossfire goes to Viper GTSR concept, with about 500 bhp
RX-8 goes to RX-8 concept car limited edition race car, again with 500-550 bhp
RX-7 goes To RX-7 LM RACE CAR with about 550 600 bhp

Win the Ruf yellow bird

To win the Ruf yellow bird go to the professional events and enter boxer spirit and win all events
P.s use only rufs & subarus

Best way to make mad money

Play through the game until you can manage to win the Escudo by beating Cathedral Rocks I on hard under Special Condition events. Win the Escudo, tune it, then go back and win another Escudo, which should be much easier now. Sell the new one for 765 grand. Repeat as needed

Perfectomundo Start

1. Transfer the lincences and credits from GT3
2. Buy the Dodge Viper ( it rocks)
3. Beat all beginner league races
4. Then go to the us league races
5. Race the stars and stripes ( it should have 3 races) the last one is a city course)
6. Win the camaro lm race car from the stars and stripes race.
7. Then race the camaro club race in Chevy's races.
8. Then race the stars and stripes race again and sell that car for $212,000

EXTREMELY fast 270+ car

1.Buy a viper SRT 10 03.2.Get an oil change.3.Buy everything except the supercharger to make it have 1032 horsepower.4.Go to power & speed.5.Go do the test course & do the top speed.6.Change the transmission settings at the bottom to 25.7.Test the car out & it should go 272 or 273mph.

Can you really beat F1 cars with some of the other best cars?

Well my awnser is a yes and a no unless, your extremely lucky.
The F1 cars might not be the fastest cars in the game but they have the best handling and acceleration
The kinds of races it's almost impossible to beat them in is the 1's with tight corners and the odd straight Eg. Tokyo R246
The kinds of races you could probibly win are races like Super Speedway and the Test course but they would get a better start.
So my advice if you want to do the Formula GT World races is get the F1 car first from the Nürburghring 24Hr race then do the F1 races, unless you are feeling extremely lucky.
Good luck.

B-spec 3 times faster!

If you want to finish a race that says 24H much more faster, just start therace on Bspec mode and then put on the race monitor and then press the right directional buton 2 times. You will see on the center of the screen up this thing''X3'' leave it like that. The problem with this trick is that every time the car goes to pits you will have to do it again, but you can finish a 24H race in 8H.

Good Starter Car

If you transfer 100,000 credits from your Gran Turismo 3 Save, I reccomend you buy the HPA Motorsports Stage II R32 '04 for around 34,000 credits. You can find this car by going to the tune shop and select HPA Motorsports. This Car has 532 BHP and will make mincemeat of the cars in the Beginner section and the special condition events. Happy Racing!

amazing car easy to get

People suggest getting the ford gt I suggest beating the special condition event rally d' Umbria and gettig the Cadillac Cien when fully customized you will have over 950HP Mine has 974HP

Start out with

You should start out with a car in a showroom because, some of the other cars are not that good, start out with one car from the historic showroom or, the other one.

Did you know Nurburghring is the longest track in the game

Unlock Courses

To unlock courses, complete days in the career mode and you will randomly get a course depending how far in the game.

Oil Change

If your oil-warning lamp appears, your speed of your car will slow, to prevent this, Change your cars oil every 10th race.

Cars you should have on GT4

Here are the cars that carried me to glory:
Playstation Pescarolo C60
Formula Gran Turismo (win on the Nurburgring 24h Endurance)
TVR Cerebra Speed Twelve
Mercedes SLR Mclaren (over 800 BHP before mods)
Aston Martin Vanquish (a bit slow, but it looks good in British Racing Green!)
Saleen S7
Toyota Rally Raid Car (only win, cannot buy)
Ford GT
Dodge Viper
See if they make a difference.
P.S you might need a LOT of credits for these cars!

Easy Money

Toget this easy money all you need to do is go to special events and race the medium level wet race, keep clearing the records so you also get a new car with every win, sell the car and add to the money you won. Now you should round up big bucks.
