Unlock Shadow Runner:

With Cao Cao in Legends mode Kill all the Wu generals and the item will appear in the northeastern part of the map. Shadow Runner is the best harness in the game and allows you to never be knocked off any horse.

Unlock Power Rune:

With Zhuge Liang in Legends mode do exactly as instructed by the game. Kill Yue Ying as soon as you are told and the Power Rune will appear. The Power Rune increases attack and decreases defense.

Unlock Mosou Armor:

With Sun Quan in Legends mode Kill Zhang Liao four times and a supply team will appear on the map. Kill the Supply Captain to claim your armor.

Unlock Fire Arrows:

With Huang Zhong in Legends mode Kill Guan Ping and Zhou Cang and the Fire Arrows will appear at the far western side of the level.

Unlock The Art of War strategic manual:

With Sun Jian in Legends mode do nothing until Lu Bu arrives then kill Lu Bu. The Art of War strategic manual will then appear in the fortress where the ambush is located. The Art of War has the ability to increase armor, Imperial Seal etc so they last for double the time.

Unlock Storm Harness:

With Dong Zhuo in Legends mode Kill Yuan Shao as soon as he appears and the Storm Harness will appear in the northeastern corner of the map. Storm Harness will increase your mounted attack.

Unlock Secret of Orbs:

On Zhou Tai's legend rescue all four of Sun Quan's Sub Officers and then seal all the gates. Precious item report is at bottom left.

Unlock Master of Musou:

On Lu Bu's legend get 1,300 KOs before Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei appear then the Supply Team appears at bottom gate, going to top gate.

Unlock War Drum:

On Meng Huo's legend Seal all enemy gates without letting your only gate get destroyed. Presious Item Report is near Sima Zhao.

Xtreme mode prices:

Whenever you buy an item it's price will increase. Rather than relying upon buying healing items, try to avoid taking damage as much as possible.
