To read Etnas diary you must flip 2 switches which are inside the castle.

The first switch is behind the throne chair and the second is in the skull near the weapon shop.

After these are pressed go to the room between the throne and room with the weapon shop.

Head down the stairs and face the middle corner and etna will say she has to go to the bathroom (but shes just going to check her diary).

Check her diary, every chapter to recieve an item in the last chapter called the testament.
