1. Introduction
------------------

This guide contains all the finishing moves and their base powers for all obtainable Rookie, Champion, and Ultimate digimon in Digimon World.

The term "Base Power" is used because all finishing techniques can be powered up by using the L1, R1, L2, and R2 buttons. The number displayed in the game is simply the power of the move without using the 'charge up' feature in battle.

The digimon below are organized by digivolution level, and ordered from strongest finishing move to weakest.

The main factors that determine which digimon are stronger, assuming equal stats, are their finishing move and the techniques they can learn and use.

In this game, the effect of "poison" can literally be the deciding factor in a battle. Poison does damage equal to approximately 1% to 3% of the enemies max HP every 5 seconds. This fact means that, in 1 minute, poison can have passively drained the enemy of 12%-36% of their possible HP! If this digimon has 9999 HP, that's about 1200-3600 damage taken passively!

Any enemy can be defeated by "poison" alone within as little as 3 to 5 minutes.

------------------
2. Ultimates
------------------

Number of Ultimate Digimon: 15 (*18 if you count cheat code only digimon)

Giromon
Finishing Move: Deadly Bomb
Base Power: 260
(Note: Although powerful, Giromon's finishing move is nearly useless since it's difficult to get the enemy to run into the bomb he throws. However, he can use "Thunder Justice," "Megalo Spark," and all Mech techniques.)

Piximon
Finishing Move: Bit Bomb
Base Power: 232
(Piximon has the strongest finishing technique in the game that's actually effective basically 100% of the time, because he shoots his technique directly at the enemy. In addition, equipping him with the "Poison Claw" and "Bug" techniques basically makes him the strongest Digimon to have as partner. The ability to use the super fast move "Poison Claw," thus poisoning the foe, and use "Bug," makes a battle with any other digimon almost a joke, not to mention that his small size allows him to evade many attacks.)

Monzaemon
Finishing Move: Lovely Attack
Base Power: 230
(Monzaemon's finishing technique, mixed with his ability to learn and use Thunder Justice, makes him among the strongest digimon to have as a partner.)

Mamemon
Finishing Move: Smiley Bomb
Base Power: 225
(Strange how all the small Ultimate digimon have the strongest finishing techniques. Mamemon uses mainly "Battle" techniques, such as "Megaton Punch.")

Digitamamon
Finishing Move: Nightmare Syndrom (This is how its spelled in-game.)
Base Power: 222
(Although decently strong, Digitamamon's finishing attack may backfire and hit himself. He also can use all Fire Techniques and "Thunder Justice" and "Megalo Spark.")

Vademon
Finishing Move: Abduction Beam
Base Power: 222
(Vademon can use all the Mech techniques, as well as the good "Bug" and "Green Trap" moves.)

H-Kabuterimon
Finishing Move: High Electro Shoc (This is how it's spelled in-game.)
Base Power: 218
(H-Kabuterimon's large size and weaker finishing technique puts him at a huge disadvantage against Piximon. However, he is also able to use "Prominence Beam" and a few other Fire and Battle techniques.)

Megadramon
Finishing Move: Genoside Attack (This is how its spelled in-game.)
Base Power: 215
(Megadramon can use the super fast "Ice Statue," as well as all the Mech techniques.)

*Gigadramon
Finishing Move: Genoside Attack (This is how it's spelled in-game.)
Base Power: 215
(Only obtained through a cheat code, Gigadramon's finishing technique is the same as Megadramon. Likewise, Gigadramon can use all the moves Megadramon uses. Essentially, they are the same digimon with a different color scheme.)

MetalGreymon
Finishing Move: Giga Scissor Claw (Supposedly this should be Giga Blaster)
Base Power: 215
(Note: Just to connect the dots:: Kuwagamon - Scissor Claw; MetalGreymon - Giga Scissor Claw; Kabuterimon - Electro Shocker; H-Kabuterimon - High Electro Shoc)

MetalMamemon
Finishing Move: Energy Bomb
Base Power: 214
(MetalMamemon can use all Battle techniques and five of the Mech techniques.)

Phoenixmon
Finishing Move: Crimson Flare
Base Power: 213
(Phoenixmon can use "Thunder Justice" and all other Air techniques, and a few Fire techniques.)

MegaSeadramon
Finishing Move: Mail Strome
Base Power: 211
(MegaSeadramon can use "Ice Statue," which may be the "strongest" of the faster techniques available in the game. However, moves like "Poison Claw" and "Sonic Jab" can allow the user to avoid it. Nevertheless, "Ice Statue" is an excellent move against boss digimon.)

Andromon
Finishing Move: Spiral Sword
Base Power: 210
(Andromon can use the fast "Megalo Spark" and all Mech moves.)

Etemon
Finishing Move: Dark Network "Delta symbol" C
Base Power: 202
(Etemon can use "Thunder Justice," "Megalo Spark," all Battle techniques, and two of the "Filth" techniques.)

*MetalEtemon
Finishing Move: Dark Network "Delta symbol" C
Base Power: 202
(Only obtained through a cheat code, MetalEtemon's finishing technique is the same as Etemon. Likewise, MetalEtemon can use all the moves Etemon uses. Essentially, they are the same digimon with a different color scheme.)

SkullGreymon
Finishing Move: Dark Shot
Base Power: 200
(SkullGreymon can use the super fast "Ice Statue," as well as all the Battle techniques. He knows only two Mech techniques: "All Range Beam" and "Pulse Laser.")

*Panjiamon
Finishing Move: Fist of the Beast K (This is how it's spelled in-game.)
Base Power: 170
(Only obtained through a cheat code, Panjiamon's finishing technique is the same as Leomon. Likewise, Panjiamon can use all the moves Leomon uses. Essentially, they are the same digimon with a different color scheme.)

(Leomon can use the fast "Megalo Spark" and all Battle techniques.)

Finishing Move: Hand of Fate
Base Power: 166
(Angemon can use the fast "Megalo Spark.")

------------------
5. Move Speeds
------------------
This section lists a rough estimate of the fastest techniques a digimon can learn in Digimon World, with "1" being fastest. A digimon who can learn the faster moves will generally be much more successful in battle versus a digimon who knows slower moves, because the slower digimon won't be able to use any moves if continually attacked by a fast technique.

(Note: There are a variety of variables that affect how different moves interact with each other, so this list may not completely predict which moves will work best against which. For example, the fast "2. Sonic Jab" will allow the user to avoid "3. Ice Statue" and "3. Ice Statue" will stop "7. Thunder Justice" from being fired; however "2. Sonic Jab" will almost never stop "7. Thunder Justice," because the digimon who uses "7. Thunder Justice" will put some distance between them and the enemy, and "2. Sonic Jab" wouldn't reach in time to prevent the attack from being fired.)

1. Poison Claw (Earth)
2. Sonic Jab (Battle)
3. Ice Statue (Ice)
4. Ice Needle (Ice)
5. Megalo Spark (Air)
6. Static Elec (Air)
7. Thunder Justice (Air)
8. Water Blitz (Ice)
9. Tear Drop (Ice)
10. Wind Cutter (Air)
11. Bug (Earth)
12. Insect Plague (Earth)

(Again, this is only a rough estimate since different moves interact with each other differently.)
