What do I do if I have missile gun and a magic missile-1 and get in front of a yellow electro spore and the missile won't fire?

Because that isn't the right sort of missile.
You have to get mag missiles to zap electro spores.
Have you tried pressing the X button in front of the Electro-Spore? Don't use the item directly from the menu. Either it's that your your cannon is broken.

You press the X button and a list of mag.miss or wave.miss will appear(the items you can use on it) you choose one and the digibeetle will shoote it and the electro spore will disappear.
i have the same problem too but my missile gun is not broken or anything and ive tried nearly everthing and its not working -.-''
