1. To get Shellmon, you first have to clear the Ogre's Fortress, located at the bottom of Great Canyone. Ogremon will flee using the elevator, which causes Shellmon to get trapped between the buttes of the canyon. To free him, simply go back down using the same elevator. You then find Shellmon on the bridges leading to Freezland, at which point he'll join the city, setting up the bulletin board (aka the newspaper).

3. You can't. You can, however, get SkullGreymon. First, help Myotismon by bringing him the Steak. Then get Shellmon to the city. After a while, you'll find an article with a rumor about Myotismon retiring. Go back to the mansion, where'll you'll find that the sealed door in his office is unlocked. Go inside and you'll find SkullGreymon, whom you have to fight. If you win, he joins the Arena.

4. To get Mojyamon to town, you have to give each of them the three items they're looking for. That last one you trade with joins the secret item shop. One's looking for an Omnipoten floppy, a Med. Recovery floppy and a DigiAnchovy, another's looking for a Giant Meat, a Speed disk and a Black DigiTrout, and the other's looking for a Happy Mushroom, a DigiMushroom and a Super Carrot. Trade last with the one who gives you the item you value least, as you can trade more than once with the ones who stay in Freezeland. To get Frigimon, bring a Digimon vulnerable to the cold (ie, Agumon, Greymon, Tyranomon, Meramon, Monochromon, Kunemon, Kuwagamon, Kabuterimon, all Baby/In-Training Digimon), and wait for it to faint due to the cold. Frigimon will appear to rescue it. Then come back to his house with a Digimon resistant to the cold (ie, any Digimon not mentioned above) and he'll come to the city, where he serves from 18:00 to 11:59 at the restaurant serving various chilly deserts.

5. For SkullGreymon, see above. Mamemon appears randomly at Mount Panorama in the area with the MudFrigimon (you can tell when he's there due to the lack of other Digimon). Simply keep re-entering the screen until you find him. Fight him and he joins the Secret Item Shop. MetelMamemon appears randomly in the first area of Factorial City after you've got Giromon, Andromon and Numemon. Use the same trick to find him as you used to find Mamemon. Fight him and he joins Penguinmon's curling game. You can challenge him after you've beaten Penguinmon there 10 times.

7. Etemon lives in the tree south of Kunemon's Bed. You'll be able to fight him once Mount Infinity opens (ie, after you have 50 prosperity points). Be careful; he takes a good chunk of health out of your Digimon's HP before the fight even starts. Beat him, and he joins the city, only to get kicked out by the other Digimon. He then stays at the Digimon Bridge area, where he sells Golden Bananas for 50,000 bits a-peice, so you can digivolve your champoin to an Etemon. (There's also a rumor that if you have a Sukamon and fulfill certain other conditions, he gives you a Metal Banana, which allows you to digivolve to MetalEtemon. I'm not sure if it's true, though.)

8. Chainmellon increases your lifespan by about a day. It also has a 5% chance of making your Digimon ill.

9. Otamamon appears in the northern area of Geko Swamp 30% of the time. If you beat him, you get taken to ShogunGekomon, whom you can trade cards with for merit points, which you can use to buy rare items off him. He also performs a charm which allows you to pass though Misty Trees, and tells you to find Cherrymon. Finally, as you leave the Gekomon village, a Gekomon will join you, though he doesn't really do anything.

10. I don't know where Byter Village is. Whamon appears on the shore of Freezeland west of Penguinmon's cave after you've driven Ogremon and his gang out of the Ogre Fortress. He then takes you to a secret beach, where you fight them again. After you've done that, he joins the city, where he can take you to the secret beach and the rear of Factorial Town. (Ogremon and his gang then take over Drill Tunnel. If you beat them again, Ogremon joins the City.)

11. You can either buy a Golden Banana from Etemon (see above), or you can get a Sukamon by letting your Digimon poop on the floor 16 times, then get it's stats really high. The second method is virtually impossible, though.
