Hints and tip for Final Fantasy VIII

MISPRINT:

I have found that there was a misprint in the code book for this game. On page 175 of the "Brady Games Oficial Guide" the hidden item is not in the location they say it is.

It is really directly above spot 2 up to the bottom of the rock, it is actually to the right of where they say it is.

Also, if you are having trouble actually selecting the hidden item, there is a certain order of buttons I press to select it:

triangle, X, 0. . . I hope that helps.
