Game Reviews for Pikmin

Quick Reviews

Picmin is one of the best games I've seen yetAdded 24 Jul 2006, ID #6390
right to start of ill say it is a brilliant game to play but i think it is the seciond best game out picmin 2 is probably the second best so if you have played picmin 1 or picmin 2 youll probably think the same as me realy i like the purple picmin on picmin 2 1 purple counts as 10 so if you had 10 purple picmin on the field that would make 100 all together and its graphics are out of this world 9/10 for that and the gameplay is amazing aswell 10/10 for that i think overall i think its a brilliant game to play so if your looking for a brilliant game for the gamecube look no thurther than picmin or picmin 2 thier both as good but picmin 2 is that little bit better

A nice challenging game!Added 8 Aug 2004, ID #2332
This game won the award for having the best enviromental graphics and that is very true. You can command up to 100 Pikmin at a time and there are lots of enemy's making it a good game. I give this game 9/10.

At the top of the page, I wrote a review saying that it was a pretty good game.

But that was written only one week after I had received the game. Now, I think that it is the most boring game EVER!!!!!

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME

Not bad but not fantascular.Added 12 Oct 2003, ID #924
This game introduces a new style of gameplay for gamecube.

You must attack as a group and still be able to create more pikmin and juggle many tasks at once.

This is not an easy task and i am struggling with it.

Unfortunately, there is no difficulty setting for this game and i gotta tell you, its pretty hard.

This is the story.
Captain Olimar goes on holiday in his spaceship :the dolphin" and while travelling through space, he is hit by a meteor.

He crashlands on a strange planet and finds his life support can only last for 30 days. He mus repair his ship within that time.

You are captain olimar and you have to find all 30 missing pieces of the spaceship. You use weird but helpful creatures called pikmin who obey your every command.

Pikmin can be very useful when they work together and can do useful tasks such as, defeat large enemies, carry things, and even build bridges.

The graphics in this game a pretty good but im certain that its not gc at its best.

The controls are very easy to learn but my pikmin are driving me up the wall. They always stray off from the group and when im walking up a narrow slope, the tend to fall off.

The battles you fight in this game are a nice combination of strategy and of course aCtIoN.

The music however, can really drive you up the wall despite the fact that it suits the mood very well.

I would give this game a 80% because the gameplay is not exciting enough for me. Also, its hard :(

OK so that was a little long and ridiculous but if done MY way, it's 100% possible!

For day 6 send 50 BLUE pikmin after that bridge leading to the Sagittarius provided that you already built the other bridge (if you didn't you're totally screwed), and send 50 blue pikmin after that partially submerged wall leading to the Nova Blaster.

Then send 30 blue pikmin after the Sagittarius itself and send 70 blue pikmin after the dark dirt wall leading to the Armored Cannon Beetle and the Radiation Canopy.

Then get the Armored Cannon Beetle (and send its carcass back to an Onion), the Radiation Canopy and get the Geiger Counter any way you want with the blue pikmin (and 3 yellow pikmin, if you didn't get the light rock wall earlier).
