Stronghold Cheats and Tips

To get easy money, buy a load of apple orchards(about 30)and make sure they all have labour, a market and about 5 granarys. When all of the granarys are full, sell a load of apples for about 20 gold coins for 5 and keep repeating until you have the desired amout of money.

It's quite simple. This can only work for as many siege engines as you can co-ordinate this with, but, to keep firing rocks even when the siege engine says there are no rocks, order to fire a diseased cow - then cancel before the cow is fired. A rock will be thrown instead, and no cows will be used up either.

Code Effect

[Alt] + L: Increase unit level

Place Pits (small black squares) in a pattern ( your initials or a logo) on a plane area, then set on fire with a bowman.

(remember to place a "Burner" in the tower you'e shooting from).

Now look at the map....LOL.

Buy some shrines and you will have a ghost of a decapitated lord.

(He is hard to see, so look close. Only 1 ghost per castle)

When bears kill civilians, your popularity decreases. To avoid this, simply build a wood fence around a bear when it appears.

Warning: level 15 on the military campaign is very hard, the amount of men you have is NOT connected to the amount of men you finished with on the level before.

To activate the cheat mode us must type in the following. Shift + Alt + A. You can only do this in the first screen or the main menu.
