How do I make a villager die?

When your villagers reach the age 50 or 60, they die. Also, occasionally they will discover crates on the shore. By opening them, you may find rusty tools in it. It will make some villagers sick but it also will give you about 1,000 tech points. If you do not heal the villagers, they die. If you don't want more villagers, sometimes the crate contains an infant.

Your can kill them by starving them, or letting them get sicker if they already are sick... Last is just the natural way of dying...
Mine get to like 90 years old and I'm trying to get the golden child but they won't die :p
Make your villager fish nonstop and he/she will die
