What I did was marry an already famous sim using "The big question" spell, which is honey, clown confetti, wizards eyelashes, you can get the ingredients for that spell by talking to vendors and completing the tasks. First get the spell, then look for whoever is hot on the studio town tabloid. Then go to studio town to meet them and just greet them. Then go home and invite them over and cast the spell. You'll now have that sim in your family and the obsessed fans will come over periodically, dropping the roses.
