Yea! Go to the MAIN MENU after click on TOOLS and then find SCENARIO TOOL (or something with scenerio) and then open the park you want it to rain in.

On the right of the screen, there will be options (white boxes) one will say PARK LAND.

Go through that option's buttons and eventually you'll see something that reads: CLIMATE (I'm pretty sure...?) then go to ALPINE FOREST. Save the game and return to that park in sandbox. Then it should rain and thunderstorm.

To the person who answered the question!
Everything it said is true but when it saves it overites and all of your rides and stuff are gone and you have to start over!

Guest answered:

It actually doesnt work, it doesnt come up with the saved data in the sandbox loading screen.

abcman answered:

Yeah, well, as others have noted, it sort of mostly works. Some of the rides are a little f*cked up, but it's hard to tell. Still, if you want to see rain, it will come.

I think the correct answer is: do this before you start a park. ;-)

Cheers.
