Introduction

Well, this game is not just grand, but it's greatly grand. Never would Nintendo make another game this unique and crazed (Except for the Paper Mario Series).
The game is about a faraway island far from Mushroom Kingdom. Turns out, Peach (The Princess) sent a letter to Mario telling him to come to a faraway land called Rogueport and help her search a sacred treasure which lied in a large place which is sealed by a large Thousand Year Old Door (Yup, it's the door the long name was talking about) and she wants Mario to help her find it. Mario must be thinking: "OMIGOSH! Princess Peach is going to KILL herself!!!!" and so another tale unfolds....

Graphics

+: The graphics are extremely unique- as they are made of fold-up paper.
+: Mario and the gang got an extreme makeover to simplified paper pieces and making them easy to copy onto them good ol' sketch books.
-: SLIGHTLY blurry and fuzzy.
-: The fact that Mario and his gang got a makeover; it became a kiddy-based game.

Sound

+:Any sound; Spooky; Chaotic; Funny; Relaxing; Mechanical; they all heve it; in the background music.
+: Mario's super-popular and superbly old Bowser's Castle Theme got an even spookier makeover.
-:Some sounds are boring and dumb..
-:Mario can't talk!?

Gameplay

+:Unpredictable and Comedic fun mixed with Romanic and Spooked-out parts
+:Star Pieces carfully hidden; tricky-based gameplay make you shout: "HOOLABABANGA! WHERE IS THAT IDIOTIC SWITCH!?" (WELL that's what I said)
+:It cpmbined RPG, Puzzle, Adventure and Fight-Strategy.
-: it may be to hard for some.

Lastability

+:60+ hours to TRULY complete the whole crazy game.
+:There are many side-quests and cool arcade games(plus a lottery)that'll keep you hooked after the game ends.
+:Special "Luigi" story you can check about and other tales such as "How It All Began" which tells you about the story of the Door.
-:Some people think it's too long and they quit. (THOSE LOSERS!)

Overall

Yeah! The best game for kiddos!!!! (And total gaming freaks) This game is the best "E" game Nintendo's ever made, and if you argue with that I won't hesitate to fight you!!! Thank you Nintendo!!! Now, lets wait for the most-awaited game of 2004 "Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess" and I'll give it a shot! :]
