Conquer New Lands Strategically

When conquering new lands a good strategy is to keep an eye out for formations such as peninsulas that allow you to make rapid, safe, and large territory grabs.

Slow and Steady

Once you have taken care of the large slices of land that you can easily grab safely it is time to change your tactics and instead go for small land grabs. Use quick movements that risk as little as possible and ensure that it is impossible for opponents to cut you off. This tactic will also give you the option to cut off those opponents who are a long way away from their territory and quickly return to safety.

Protect your Territory

The most effective tactic to protect your territory from other players is to catch them off-guard when they are out of their territory and snip their transparent line. When you manage to do this you will completely knock your opponent off the board.

Play Aggressively

You will soon learn that you will have the best chance of reaching the 100% score when you play aggressively and don't avoid opponents. It's basically a case of each time you kill an opponent there is one less person to content with on the playing field.

Lure Opponents

Remember that if you are in neutral territory and you crash into an opponent you both die unless you can somehow manage to get back into your land within one square of the place where you got hit. If however you crash into an opponent inside your own territory only your opponent will die. Use this to your advantage to get easy kills by luring your opponent into your territory before crashing into them.

Patience

The key to being successful in this game is patience and not mindlessly charging at an opponent who you see expanding. You need to stay in your zone and try and try and lure them out and strike as soon as their trail is exposed. Remember also that when attacking an opponent your trail will is also be exposed so only go for kills that are close to your territory.
