Is there a level after luigi? If there is how do you get to it

What does "after Luigi" mean? If you mean after Special 1, then yes. You can keep going all the way to Special 8. Just keep beating levels.

Cant seem to find the last star coin in 2-2, 3-4, and the 2nd star coin in level 5-2 any help or ideas ????

The star coin for 2-2 is in the area with the flag contrary to the direction of the flag you'll see bricks smash them by tanooki or rolling and go uner the wall in the hidden room is the star coin.
In 3-4 you need to get to the purple spike sheres an jump on the flying ? Block before it flys away, it will take you to the star coin and a warp box.
And last 5-2 you'll need fire mario for this, go to the far right room passed the spike bar then light the altars and go on to the next room with the star coin.hope this helped.
