I'm getting annoyed with all the repairs!

Haha, same. But here is a little hint, (this doesnt work with phones)
Ring up the repairman, keep an eye on him, wait until the repair is nearly done and then leave the room QUICKLY, So either go outside or upstairs (going upstairs only works on Salty's Boat and the Townhouse)
Come back inside and you will see that (hopefully) you will still have your money, and the object that needs repairing will still look broken. Go up to it and start to repair it. It will leave off from where the repairman finished. Quicker and Cheaper!
