Im on the part where you buy your house and I can't talk to anyone or eat anything without paying.
I can't talk to anyone because I need to watch a TV in the town with the Jail and whenever I go to the catalog to buy one it doesent do anything. :/
And I can't eat because when I go to Collectibles and try to eat my apples it doesent do anything :/

You can't buy anthing out of your catalog because it's just showing you what you can buy and you can't eat your collectibles unless you buy a mixer and make a cake or something (you can get the mixer in the thrift store).try waiting until your sim needs the toilet then let him go in the street,then he will get sent to jail so you can now watch the tv,sleep 6 game hours after you have done that so you can get out of jail for free.
