on the handbook on the sims 3 nitento ds go on the last page of socializing it says that good friends can soon turn into to boyfriend or girlfriend,fiancees,and spouses.so how do have babies.

If it doesn't say you can have babies, you can't have them. Only on the PS3 version you can. Maybe on the PC, too, but I've only played the DS and PS3 versions. Sorry! Hope I helped, though!
