Question for The Sims 2: Castaway

Chef Butcher won't let me give him anything. Every time I try to give him something, I end up insulting him. I'm stuck, I've tried to give him eggs, zucchini. I've tried lighting fires for him, everything but nothing works please help me.

I'm not quite sure...The same thing was happening to me so I restarted my game hoping to do things right this time. So far it is working but it kinda sucks to lose all of your progress. Sorry but that is my only solution.

I'm not sure if this will help but the same thing is happening to me but when the gardener castaway was mad at me I just kept giving her bananas and she was ok with me after 5 or so. So I'm looking for some kind of food for him.

Give him mushrooms which can be found in the cave

Use the brown mushrooms from the cave, the red mushrooms he don't like.

I am having the same problem.. It does not matter what you intend to give him, it wont allow you to do anything but insult him.. I even made sure ALL my sims needs bar and mood was full, but to no avail... Oh well *siigh* Bye Bye progress.. Need to remember to be friend him before I even reach Ms Weeder

I gave chef over 20 peppers and got rid of the red bar completely. However, I still can't give him the items.. Only gift them with does no good.

He LOVES yams. That’s what I used which made a huge difference. I spoke to him a bunch of times, which got him up to about 20% and I gave him 4 yams then the bar went green to give him the peppers
