HELP!!

HELP!!

For the bridge, I fixed it like sort of around the start of the game so I'm only on like 33% but wen it was done it wont let me cross. It only has examine as an option which says "it looks sturdy, but......" can someone please help me!!?

There should be an arrow on the ground there (like the others) that let's you go to the "Next area".
