I am trying to craft a Luxury Shelter, but I don't know how to get the support beam!! Help plz xx

Also, how do you get more nails?

Chop down a coconut tree (sometimes you get one and some times you dont). If there are coconuts in the tree it usually will give you the beam rather than from an empty tree.. Nails are rough to come by so save them when you find them.. I found 1 digging and then they come in the wooden box that gives you new stuff everyday.
