Hi, I have a problem with the stupid gardener lady!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im not that far into the game as I have been playing it 4 a week or so but I am stuck. Im up 2 the gardener lady and she told me 2 grow some bananas. So I did. When it came 2 picking them (foraging them) I did that 2 and then went over 2 her. I selected deliver items and then something strange happened. In the speech bubble, it's was a tiki... Sad and angry face and she had a right go at my sim! So now, every time I go and pick them hand them 2 her she does the same, sad angry tiki face! I wanna know y! Im not that friendly with her but still! Also, y don't they speak English? You'd think they wud!

All Sims talk in that weird language in every game I have played. You have to become friends with her before you can get anything from her. You will see a bar above her head, if it's red, you are not friends. You have to keep talking to her & giving her gifts so it will turn green, then you can get things from her. You have to make sure you stay in the green with all of them as well.

Hello. Just a comment about zanzalar's answer. He covered mostly everything but when a sim's frienship bar is low like that, NEVER talk to them because it'll just make it worse. Only give them gifts and only gifts that they like(no bugs or fish).
